Jimmy Town

First of all please do not hate me because I have failed miserably at posting blogs on the way. This trip is crazy busy, if we aren't at a site we are doing homework, and since we rarely do homework the honest truth is we are sleeping. I'm going to make a post for each of the main places we have been and try to catch you all up on life on a bus..

Our trip began in Jamestown. What an experience, I was sick that day crazy 24 hour something or other I got from the Kids in Utah. It made for a very difficult day in Jamestown Virginia, it was way too hot and we weren't allowed to carry our waters. Did I mention it was hot? The humidity out here is deathly, if it wasn't so pretty out here I wouldn't be able to comprehend how anyone could live here. Sorry Heid, its the honest truth.

Anyways we got to see how they did it back in 1607 when the first English settlers came to the Americas. Learned a lot about the Indians. And heard WAY too many Idaho "jokes" aka insults from our tour guide. I just wanted to go off on him, "No buddy I'm not FROM Idaho, I go to school IN Idaho therefore I have seen and been on a freaking ship before!" I suppose it didn't help that I was feeling sick, but my goodness was he annoying or what.

Its okay, it's all about the experience and it was pretty great to see how they lived and got through things.

On to Williamsburg!
